The best way to know what is in your backyard is to get a survey done by a professional surveyor. When you have a survey, you know what is on your property, including property dimensions, dwelling and impervious surface measurements, and any easements, setbacks, or other restrictions your property may have.Â
A professional survey eliminates the risk of any surprises coming up during the permitting and inspections of your pool. A current survey is also usually required for permitting, especially if your lot is less than 3 acres or you live in a subdivision.Â
Sometimes a survey is included with your closing documents for your home, but if not, we can help you get one done. If you have a septic system, you should also contact your town/county/municipality to get a copy of your septic permit so that you know its location to determine the placement options for your pool.
The typical timeline for a vinyl liner pool installation in Clayton is 4-5 weeks from the day we begin excavation until the day we install your liner and deliver water. This timeline does not include permitting or final inspections (done after completing your decking and fencing).Â
